The Gap is the in-between bits of life, the waiting times between
the end of one adventure and the start of the next one. Minding the Gap is a chronicle of the current Gap I'm facing: the six month long wait between finishing an undergraduate degree in 'Literature and History' and heading off for a year-long working trip to Canada. It's about the mundane
and essential parts of life, which we all occasionally need in order to learn
and/or earn enough for the next stage.
My Gap will be spent:
1. Readjusting to living back in the family home for the first
time in three years
2. Getting the knack of the blogging thing in time for the
Canadian adventure (when I actually have something to write about)
3. Earning and saving the necessary amount of money to survive
the aforementioned migration
4. Working out how to have a fun summer in London in spite of
the weather, Olympics and lack of cash
Gaps aren’t always empty spaces like the gap between the
train and the platform; hopefully this one will be more like a gap through a
hedge between two gardens, and maybe I’ll even find some berries in it.
Intriguing topic...looking forward to reading more and happy Gap-ping.
